Tube hydroforming is an industrial technique wherein special liquids are injected innto the frame tubes using tre-mendous pressure.Lines and curves are formed on the tubes following the pattern on the wold. Hydroforming offers several advantages:complex shapes are poss- ible for improvd bicycle frame aesthetics.No need for gussets with extra cool looks without adding weight.We’re one of the first in the world to implement hydroforming technokogy into mass bicycle frame production.
2005 K7 KINESIS SUPERLIGHT
Designed and developed to be at par with elite aluminum tubing yet still remain afordable. K7 tubings are lighter than traditional 7005 and 6000 series aluminum without sacrifcing durability, toughness and stifness. A standard 26” MTB frame made of K7 tubes can weigh arou-nd 1.4kgs.
2007 SUPERPLASTIC FORMING TECHNIQUE
SPF allows better tube shapes that cannot be producted using traditional forming techniquse. Whereas shape designs can be applied to 20%-30% of the tube using hydroforming,SPF allows up to 50%.In addition,complex shapes will not compromise the tube’s structural strength unlike hydrof-orming. The result : more optimized shapes and lesser weight.SPF tubes are 10% lighterthan hydroformed tubes at 20% transformation.25% lighter at 30%

For years development, Kinesis has invented new Scandium material. Scandium is a extremely high strength material, so, with KSC tubing, the bike frames are lighter and stronger than normal alloy material.
